We are looking for Health Visitors who have a strong understanding of current developments in health visiting, a proven track record of continuous professional development, and a passion for implementing innovative practice.

As a Health Visitor with NHS Fife, you will deliver a high-quality, culturally sensitive, and accessible service to children and families, working collaboratively with service users, care providers, and other agencies. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and embrace skill-mix teamwork.

Some of these positions can be challenging, requiring experience in addressing a variety of health and social issues. However, in return, we offer excellent learning and development opportunities within a stimulating and rewarding environment.

However, this is only possible if the employer is a licenced Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’. Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
