Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work as part of a 2:1 care package alongside a nurse, supporting a client with complex clinical needs. This is a daytime package offering flexible shift patterns for the right candidate.

PEG / MIC-KEY gastrostomy feeding

Bowel care

Vital signs monitoring

Equipment in Use

*

Ambu bag

*

Oxygen cylinder

*

Suction machine

Airvo

Cough Assist

*

Saturation monitoring machine

*

MIC-KEY gastrostomy feeding tube

*

Insulin pump

Key Responsibilities

*

Tracheostomy care

*

PEG feeding and management

*

Monitoring vital signs

*

Supporting diabetes management

*

Working collaboratively within a 2:1 nurse-led package

Essential Requirements

*

Previous experience in complex care

*

Tracheostomy care experience

*

PEG feeding experience

*

Diabetes care experience

*

Right to work in the UK

*

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
