Locum HCA Opportunity

Location: GP Surgery, Derby

Rate: £14–£18 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: 5 Days/Week + Optional Weekend Work

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 3 Months

We're looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery team in Derby on a locum basis.

Role Overview:

You will be confident with a full range of primary care HCA duties, including:

• Bloods (Phlebotomy)
• Blood pressure checks
• ECGs
• NHS Health Checks
• Vaccinations (e.g. B12, Flu – if trained)
• Wound care & dressings
• QOF support & annual reviews

Requirements:

• GP surgery experience is essential
• Confident working independently
• Familiarity with EMIS is a bonus
• Able to start ASAP

This is a great opportunity to secure regular hours in a welcoming practice with an excellent clinical team and optional weekend shifts for extra flexibility.
