Are you passionate about improving health and changing lives? We’re recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join a progressive charity in Worcestershire

In this role, you’ll combine hands-on healthcare with real social impact — delivering clinical care while helping people take steps towards safer, healthier futures.

The role:

Provide frontline health support including assessments, screenings, detox programmes, and wound care

*

Develop safe, tailored care plans in partnership with service users and colleagues

*

Offer harm reduction advice and interventions

*

Work closely with GPs, hospitals, prisons, and other partners to ensure continuity of care

*

Safeguard vulnerable adults and young people through robust risk management

About you:

*

Background in healthcare, e.g GP or Hospital setting

*

Experience within specific health interventions including general health assessments, screening (including taking and recording of basic observations), ECGs, detoxification programmes and venepuncture

*

Knowledge of general health issues

*

Skilled communicator who can build trust with service users and professionals alike

*

Able to work independently while being an active member of a multidisciplinary team

*

Flexible, compassionate, and committed to high-quality care
