The Role As a Mental Health Healthcare Assistant, you will: Provide consistent emotional support and reassurance to children experiencing anxiety, distress, or behavioural challenges. Support children with autism and ADHD to manage routines, transitions, and sensory sensitivities. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mealtimes, hygiene, and maintaining a structured routine. Implement behaviour support plans and positive behaviour strategies in line with care plans. Safely manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using PMVA techniques where necessary.
