We are looking for a Health Care Trainer to join a well-established care provider, delivering high-quality training that equips staff to provide safe, person-centred support.
Key responsibilities of this Healthcare Trainer opportunity will include:

Deliver Care Certificate training to new and existing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practice.
*
Facilitate training on staff competency assessment, care planning, and risk assessment.
*
Deliver First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training, including CPR, to prepare staff for medical emergencies.
*
Develop and update training materials, presentations, and resources in line with changes in regulations, policies, and sector best practice.
*
Work closely with the management team to identify training needs and design tailored training programmes.
*
Assess staff competencies, identify gaps, and provide targeted training interventions.
*
Evaluate the effectiveness of training using feedback and performance data, recommending improvements.
*
Ensure all training is fully compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies.
*
Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, certificates, and competency assessments.
The ideal person for this Healthcare Trainer opportunity will need:

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience delivering training within the health and social care sector.
*
Qualified to deliver the Care Certificate and other relevant care sector training.
*
Hold a recognised Train the Trainer qualification.
*
Competent in staff competency assessments, care planning, and risk assessments.
*
Certified in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS).
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
