Job Title: HGV 1 Weekend Driver Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 Weekend Driver to join our team in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry. This is a weekend position with the option of working more days if you wish
The successful candidate should be available to work one or both days over the weekends.
Job Duties: Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
Ensuring timely and professional communication with the despatch team
Performing routine vehicle checks and maintenance
Required Qualifications: Valid HGV Class 1 licence
Tacho card
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver
Knowledge and Skills: Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
Strong communication and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Working Conditions The role of an HGV 1 Weekend Driver involves working weekends, often in variable weather conditions. The job may require long hours
Rates of pay based on 2 years experience - £19.00-£24.00 per hour
