HGV 2 Delivery Driver

Grafters Recruit are Looking for multiple committed Home delivery HGV 2 drivers delivering furniture for IKEA individually or alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day!.
BENEFITS:
8 hour working week 5 days on, 3 days off 8-week rota Start times Vary from 05.30am 12.00pm midday
£18.75 per hour
£1000 signing bonus on completion 13 week probation period (65 shifts)

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Driving a HGV 2 in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured and delivered in a safe manner
Always providing a first-class customer service experience
REQUIREMENTS:
This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting essential that you are physically able to lift items
Valid in-date driving license manual licence
No more than 6 points on driving license
Previous experience in a multi drop role would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
