7.5 Tonne Driver – Crick, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, regular work, and genuine opportunities for progression.

Shifts

  •  Working 5–6 shifts between Monday – Saturday
  •  06:00 starts

Rates of Pay

  •  £15.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  •  Two-person 7.5 Tonne home delivery work
  •  Completing 15–20 drops per day depending on area and distance
  •  Unloading goods with handball involved
  •  Heavy lifting due to the nature of the role

Essential Skills

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

  •  Valid UK Category C1 licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
  •  Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
  •  Previous commercial driving experience
  •  Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
  •  Previous home delivery experience

Desirable Experience

  •  Previous 7.5 Tonne multi-drop experience

Training Provided

  •  Client assessment completed on first shift
  •  Industry-related training and ongoing support
