Freeway Recruitment are looking to register Class 2 Drivers;

Role: Class 2 (HGV C) Driver

Job type: Temporary

Shifts - Days

Start times: 0700 – 0800 starts

Description:

Working for a leading national supplier in their field, drivers will be working for our clients regional depot

Regional Multi Drop, 10-12 per day on average. Drivers usually finish run within 8hrs or before, minimum 8 hours pay applies.

Drivers must be familiar with safe operating of Palletised Pump Truck (PPT) unloading as well as Tail Lift Deliveries. Some deliveries require Driver to manually unload stock and must be familiar and physically fit enough to carry out the requirements of the role

Drivers must be familiar with Curtain side vehicles, ratchet straps and safe strapping of load and goods carried

For this role you must:

* Have a full and valid Class 2 Licence and have held this for a minimum of 12 months and have been driving consecutively for one year.

* No more than 6 points on licence with no DR , DD , IN , CD or other endorsements that lead to a ban.

* A full and valid Tacho card and an in date valid CPC Qualification with card.

Requirements:

* Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time

* Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping

* Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work

* Good command of English both written and spoken

* Excellent communication skills

* Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times

* Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network

* Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic

* Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client
