HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – Ballieston - ADR driverPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Ballieston.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.Shifts  •  4 on/ 4 off  •  day shift - 0500 startRates of Pay: £16.36 per hourBenefitsAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:  •  Excellent hourly rates  •  Ongoing work  •  Weekly pay  •  On-site canteen  •  Training provided  •  Immediate starts available  •  Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):  •  Delivery of goods from store to home and trunking work  •  Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently  •  Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections  •  Ensuring all loads are secure before transport  •  Adhering to traffic laws and driving regulations  •  Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers  •  Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptlyEssential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:  •  Valid UK Category CE Licence  •  Minimum of 24 months' experience driving CE vehicles  •  No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)  •  Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card  •  Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test  •  Good spoken and written English  •  Excellent punctuality and time-keeping skills  •  Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations  •  Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience  •  Previous commercial driving experience  •  Multi-drop delivery experienceTraining Provided  •  Driver assessment required (including theory test)  •  One-week paid induction following a successful assessmentApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
