Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a range of our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This role offers day shifts with competitive pay and the opportunity for ongoing work.

Pay Rate:
£16.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience and client placement)

The Role:

*

Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and trunking work

*

Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy

*

Delivering goods safely and efficiently to designated locations

*

Completing all necessary paperwork and adhering to driver hours regulations

*

Representing Driver Hire and our clients in a professional manner

Requirements:

*

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

*

Valid Driver CPC Qualification

*

Digital Tachograph Card

*

Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred

*

Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations

*

Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
