This isn't your standard driving role.

You'll be responsible for recovering vehicles in a wide range of conditions from across the UK. Some jobs are straightforward. Others will challenge you to think on your feet, assess situations, and find practical solutions making this ideal for someone with a mechanical mindset and a hands-on approach.
Although a Class 1 licence is required, the role involves driving a Class 2 vehicle with a trailer , offering a more varied and engaging driving experience.

This is a tramping role , so regular nights away are part of the job.

What you'll be doing:
* Recovering vehicles from across the UK in a variety of conditions and environments
* Assessing each job and adapting your approach depending on the situation
* Driving a Class 2 vehicle with trailer (Class 1 licence required)
* Planning your own routes, start and finish times
* Carrying out pre-travel safety checks
* Completing depot-to-depot transfers when required
* Managing paperwork accurately
* Liaising professionally with customers on-site
What we're looking for:
* Full HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
* Valid DIGI and CPC cards
* Good understanding of drivers' hours and regulations
* A strong mechanical mindset, comfortable assessing vehicles and situations
* Ability to think outside the box and solve problems independently
* A proactive, self-sufficient approach
* Strong attention to detail
* Comfortable with regular nights away (tramping)
* Previous experience in recovery or similar hands-on roles is advantageous
