Jaxdene Solutions are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client based in Amesbury, delivering cage work to Home Bargains stores across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work with a reliable client.

Shift Details

* AM Starts: 00:00 – 07:00

* PM Starts: 12:00 – 17:00

* Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off

The Role

* Cage deliveries to Home Bargains stores nationwide

* Ensuring correct loads and paperwork are completed

* Completing daily vehicle checks

* Maintaining communication with the transport team

* Driving safely and efficiently at all times

Key Responsibilities

* Follow all health & safety procedures

* Comply with Working Time Directive (WTD)

* Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations

* Take correct breaks to avoid infringements

* Complete defect reports when required

* Report delays or issues promptly

* Represent the company professionally on-site

Requirements

* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence

* Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience

* No more than 6 points (no major endorsements)

* Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
