HGV Class 1 Driver

iRecruit4 are currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a temp to perm position based in Cricklade, Wiltshire. This role is ideal for a professional driver who enjoys a mix of driving and physical work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful trial period.

The Role for Class 1 Driver:
Monday to Friday
06:00am start times no weekend work
Typically 23 drops per day
Around 34 hours of driving per drop
Load and unload your own vehicle this is a hands-on, physically active role
Delivering to a mix of commercial and site locations across the region
Ensuring all loads are secure, completing delivery paperwork, and maintaining vehicle checks

Requirements for Class 1 Driver:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
Good level of fitness as role involves manual loading/unloading
Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused with a positive attitude
