HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV / C+E Class 1 Chilled / Frozen Drivers. Working for a large independent haulier in the Peterborough area, you will be making deliveries of Frozen / Chilled foods to Supermarket RDC's and NDC's

The client is rightly proud of its fully fitted fleet of vehicles, they are looking for drivers that will start on a 60 shift Temp 2 Perm. (12 Weeks). Please read the entire job desciption.

You will be starting on a Monday between (Apply online only) and should expect 3 nights away, typically 4 returning late Friday or when legally allowed to do so on a Saturday.

The unit is fully equiped, with all the modern features a night out driver would want, they are immaculate and you will retain the same unit no driver hot seating, a home from home.

You will make deliveries and collections across the country, the basic salary of £40K is based on a Monday to Friday with Saturdays being paid as overtime.

Whilst on the work out period of 60 shifts we at MKD Recruit Ltd are paying

Monday to Friday £18.08 Per Hour

Saturdays £22.16 Per Hour

Night Out £25.00 (Tax Free Expense)

Drivers Need 6 months minimum UK Driving Experience in a HGV

* Full UK Driving Licence with 6 months experience

* Max 6 penalty points

* Drivers CPC Card

* Drivers Digi Card

* Perpared to Night Out

* Able to unload pallets and cages when at Lidl and other distribution centres

We require 6 drivers who want Permanent Work. We can guarantee that once you have completed 60 shifts you will move to there payroll with all the benefits of working permanently with a company that genuinely values its drivers.
