Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is £17.14 - £21.87 per hour.

This role offers ad hoc and pre-booked HGV Class 1 AM and PM shifts and shunter roles available.

Fixed shift patterns available Friday - Monday PM, ad hoc work available and NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME!!

Your Time at Work As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness - Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and no more than 6 points with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
