Here at The Best Connection we are looking for HGV drivers to join our client based in Totton. This role is a temp to perm with potential to go full time with a contract after 13 weeks. Working Monday to Friday, no weekends involved. Salary - £16.12 per hour / £24.18 overtime Location - Totton, Southampton Start Time - Early AM Starts Shift Pattenrs - Monday to Friday WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: - Delivering goods to pubs, clubs and resturants - Driving a class 1 low loader, designed for the deliveries - You will be going out with a drivers mate to help with the deliveries - Reporting any issues on the road to shift manager - Vehicle checks before and after each shift - New pass class 1 drivers are welcome, with some previous commerical driving experience - Full training provided WHAT IS REQUIRED: - Full clean UK licence - CPC & Digi Card required - New passes welcome - £16.12 per hour with £24.18 overtime after 9 hours - Double time on bank holidays - Good numeracy and literacy skills - Drivers must have good communication and customer service skills - Ongoing work Monday to Friday - No weekends involved - On-site parking If you are interested, please apply or contact us today! xehkeey The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
