The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. Shifts: Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time). Hours: Linehaul - Days, Afternoons and Nights
Pay Rate: Linehaul- £17.75 - £18.25 per hour PAYE
Location: Darlington, DL1 Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing. The role: Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
You may potentially be required to load and unload the vehicle using a tail lift or a pump truck
Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
6 months minimum experience required
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
