About the Role

Our well-established third-party haulier based in Rugby, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for local and nationwide deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking consistent and long-term work with the potential for permanent placement.

Shift Information

* Start times between 05:00 – 09:00

* Shifts average 8–10 hours

* Start date: Immediately

Key Responsibilities

* Local and national deliveries using tail-lift equipment

* Palletised collection and delivery using electric pump trucks

* Kerbside deliveries only – no handball involved

* Handling various stock types as a third-party haulier

* Use of PDA systems for tracking and managing jobs

* Flexibility to drive Class 2 vehicles when required (paid at Class 1 rate)

Requirements

* Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving Class 1 vehicles

* Maximum of 3 penalty points for minor driving offences

* Valid manual and automatic HGV licence

* Familiarity with PDA systems

* Flexibility and reliability
