Job Description

Job Title: HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver (Temp 3 Months)
Location: Oldham
Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour
Hours: MondayFriday, 6:00am4:00pm (47.5 hours per week)
Occasional weekend work required

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 & 2 Driver for a temporary role based in the Oldham area. This is a 3-month assignment.

The Role:

  • Collection of waste paper, cardboard and trade waste

  • Primarily driving HGV Class 2 vehicles, with occasional Class 1 driving required

  • Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

  • Providing professional and reliable service at collection points

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

  • Experience driving Class 1 &2 vehicles

  • Good knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
