Job Description:

Synergise Recruitmentare supporting a well-established refrigerated transport business with two key areas of operation. Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers (Refrigerated Transport, Adhoc Shifts)

Start Location:Bridgwater

Shifts:Adhoc / Flexible

1. Local Transport South West Region

Youll be collecting frozen and chilled goods from suppliers and cold stores across the Southwest. This includes:

  • Multi-pickup work
  • Managing temperature-controlled products
  • Regular interaction with small and medium local suppliers
  • A mix of Class 1 and Class 2 work depending on the shift

What Youll Be Doing

  • Driving a Class 1 or Class 2 temperature-controlled vehicle
  • Managing chilled/frozen loads and ensuring correct temperature checks
  • Completing paperwork, PODs, and following customer procedures
  • Communicating with transport teams to keep runs efficient and on time
  • Ensuring a safe, compliant, professional approach at all times

What Were Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
  • Previous experience in refrigerated transport is ideal, but not essential
  • Able to work flexibly on adhoc shifts
  • Good communication and a solid work ethic
  • Comfortable with both local and national work depending on business needs
