Class 1 Driver

We are recruitingClass 1 Driverfor a 24/7 logistics operation offering weekday shifts &consistent weekend shifts. Drivers will operate fridge trailers, some experience with fridge trailers and temperatures would be helpful. The HGV1 will be loaded ready to go.


The LGV 1 driver will be required to transport stock from Depos and RDCs, there is no handball with this roll.


As aClass 1 Driver, you will be:

  • Operating a HGV 1 truck and trailer

  • Completing23 drops / collectionson distance routes

  • Completing PODs and paperwork accurately

  • Conducting daily vehicle checks

  • Working within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts

Hours & Pay

  • Weekend shifts available(Saturday & Sunday)

  • Monday to Friday work also available

  • 8 - 12 hour shifts

  • £19.00 £21.00 per hour PAYE

  • Up to £24 per hour over the weekend

  • Weekly pay every Friday

  • Ongoing, long-term work

Requirements
  • ValidHGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • ValidCPC & Digi Tacho
  • Safety boots & hi-vis
