Slough – HGV Class 1 Driver £19.00 – £28.50 per hour HGV Class 1 Driver – 9hr Shifts (1hr Unpaid Break) My client is a leading logistics organisation on a global scale seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team. Experience & Skills of a HGV Class 1 Driver: * Hold a shared responsibility for own development and willingness to attend training courses when required * Carry out airport-to-airport runs (Heathrow to Stansted/Luton) safely and efficiently * Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times * Work closely with your transport team to deliver expected results * Ensure correct completion of customer data, security and transport documentation * Safely load, secure and check vehicle before departure in line with company and airport standards * Accurately record working and driving hours in line with road transport regulations * Adhere to airport cargo procedures and compliance standards at all times * Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Salary and Benefits: * Standard Rate: £19.00 per hour * Premium Rate (19:00 – 08:00): £21.71 per hour * Overtime Rate: £28.50 per hour * Vehicle and fuel card provided * PAYE – Paid direct (no payroll company deductions) * St...
