Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts: Across Monday to Sunday.

Hours: AM shift
Pay Rates (2 payment options):

  • Monday to Friday Days- £15.22ph PAYE / £17.06ph Rolled up
  • Saturday and Sunday Days- £16.68ph PAYE / £18.69ph Rolled up

Location: Warrington, WA4.

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

  • General Haulage work
  • Occasional loading and unloading
  • Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
  • Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 1 year proven experience driving the relevant vehicle
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards.
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
