HGV Class 1 Driver (Days & Nights) - Immediate Starts - Hereford

Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver for the following role below.

Pay rates -

• Days: Monday to Friday £16.50 per hour
• Nights: Monday to Friday £19.25 per hour

Your hourly pay rate is £16.50 and you will accrue £1.99 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.

Duties of the HGV Class 1 Driver -

• Trunking to RDC's and other depots
• No handball involved apart from pulling the curtain back
• Day and night shifts available - home daily (no tramping required)
• Modern, well looked after trucks
• A positive mentality

We require HGV Class 1 Drivers immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distributing alcoholic beverages across the whole of the UK. Our customer in Hereford is one of our largest clients based in the Herefordshire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous and current positive feedback.

We are looking for drivers who are happy to work day and/or night shifts.

Our client will be accepting a Class 1 Driver who fits the criteria listed below:

The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have -

• A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving Licence
• 6 months experience is essential for this role
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (No TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
• Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law, up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average
