HGV Class 1 Night Driver - Store Deliveries

Class 1 Driver Shift : Monday to Friday, Days and Nights Nights 18:00hrs - 04:00hrs Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Carry out a range of duties including delivering timber, loading trailers, completing local deliveries, and undertaking trunking routes from Fort William to Eurocentral or Bathgate, before reloading for the return journey to Fort William. Position and move trailers into the designated parking areas in preparation for delivery, ensuring all loads are secure and all site safety procedures are followed. Record and monitor trailers entering and leaving the depot. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated. Competitive Salary : 35,639 per annum on Days . 40,644 per annum on Nights (including night shift allowance). Shift Hours : As above. Training : DCPC training during your employment , Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
