HGV Class 1 Driver - Night Shifts - Redditch

Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver working night shifts for our client in Redditch.

Weekday and weekend work available!


Pay Rates:
  • Nights: £18.50 per hour (Monday to Friday, PAYE only)
  • Weekends & Bank Holidays: £19.50 per hour

Please note, the above rates do not include holiday pay, which is paid separately when annual leave is taken.

Your hourly pay rate is £18.50, and you will accrue £2.59 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked. This is banked and paid when you take annual leave.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins or Payroll Processing Fees.


Duties:
  • RDC trunking and store deliveries
  • Handball required to assist with unloading
  • Daily vehicle checks
  • Driving modern, well-maintained trucks
  • Maintaining a professional manner with customers
  • Wearing correct PPE at all times (Safety Boots & Hi-Vis)

?? Start times: Between 17:00 - 23:00
?? Shifts typically 10-12 hours, in line with tachograph laws


Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Shop delivery experience preferred
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum 6 penalty points (No TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
