Job Title: HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver Location: Cardiff, Wales Employment Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: Monday to Friday Days 0600-0700 starts, average 10-11 hour days Salary: £15.50ph plus £1.87 ph rolled up holiday pay MDE Group UK LTD are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join our clients established team based in the Cardiff area. This role involves a lot of yard based duties shifting trailers to be loaded and organising the yard. This is not a clean job for info. There may be some on the road work involved from time to time assisting with tip drops and taking vehicles for MOT Requirements: Excellent knowledge of tacho use and working time Daily vehicle checks ensuring any issues are reported immediately Trailer checks Good customer service Qualifications UK HGV Class 1 Licence held for 2 years minimum Max 6 points with no major endorsements (DD/DG/DR/IN/TT/CD/UT) Valid Tacho Valid CPC We aim to respond to all candidates within a 7 day period.
