Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver/Tramper to join our logistics team.
This role involves long-distance freight transportation.
The ideal candidate will possess solid commercial driving experience, with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
**Due to insurance stipulations, this customer cannot accept DR10, IN10. Driver must be over 25 with maximum of 6 points **

Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 1 lorries in compliance with all legal and safety regulations
Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety standards are met
Deliver goods efficiently across designated routes, adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of journeys, deliveries, and vehicle inspections
Follow all traffic laws and company policies throughout all operations
Complete daily logs and reports as required by company procedures
Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly for maintenance
Qualifications
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trailers preferred
Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and time management
Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards
Ability to operate flatbed equipment safely and securely load/unload cargo
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for liaising with dispatch teams and clients
Flexibility to undertake long-distance journeys across various regions as required
