The Role Class 1 Weekend Trampers As a Class 1 Weekend Trampers , you will be responsible for long-distance deliveries and collections across the UK, typically involving overnight stays in your vehicle (tramping). This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable spending weekends on the road and enjoy the independence of long-haul driving.
Key Responsibilities Operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing scheduled deliveries and collections nationwide
Planning routes and managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all transport regulations
Sleeping in the cab during overnight runs (tramping)
Maintaining accurate records, including tachograph and delivery paperwork
What Were Looking For Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in a Class 1 Weekend Trampers role or similar long-distance driving work preferred
Strong understanding of UK driving laws and regulations
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated attitude
