HGV Class 1 Tramper Worsley

RMB Driving Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper for a respected logistics client based in Worsley, Greater Manchester.

This position is available on a Temp to Perm basis or as a straight permanent role, depending on experience. It is a PAYE-only role, designed for drivers seeking long-term, permanent employment.

The role operates on a fixed 4 on / 4 off shift pattern and offers excellent pay, stability, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Due to the tramping nature of the position, applications are welcomed from drivers living within approximately 1.5 hours commute of Worsley. The site is easily commutable from major towns and cities including Manchester, Bolton, Salford, Wigan, Warrington, Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Preston, Blackburn, Liverpool, Chester, Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent, Huddersfield, and surrounding areas.

You will be driving modern, well-maintained vehicles and working as part of a professional and supportive transport team.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as an HGV Class 1 Tramper across the UK
• Completing nationwide deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing all required documentation
• Representing the client in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

• Full HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
• Tramping experience preferred but not essential
• Tanker and bulk tipper experience advantageous but not essential
• No ADR required
