HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted Bridgend, Wales
Previous Hook Loader commercial vehicle/truck driving experience is required.
Bonus £500 is paid after 6 weeks and a further £500 is paid after completion of the 12th week (T&C applies)
Location: Bridgend, Wales Salary: £14.70ph + monthly bonus of £150 (T&C applies ) Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM approx. 3:30 PM Overtime: Paid after 7.5 hours per day at £22.05/hour (time and a half)
Smart Solutions Recruitment is currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers with Hook Loader experience for a busy recycling contract in Bridgend area.
Role Responsibilities:
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Drive and operate vehicles and equipment as required by the company in accordance with the licence, experience and training for that vehicle and equipment
Manual handling required; the ability to perform physical manual handling tasks is essential
Full training and paid induction/driver assessment before starting
Temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidates

Requirements:
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
Driving a Hook Loader experience required
CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi Card)
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
Willingness to perform manual loading tasks when required
Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
