HGV Class 2 Driver Loader

Thrive Group Bolton are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's Waste Department.

About the Role

As part of a three-person crew, you will be responsible for operating a Refuse Collection Vehicle to collect public and commercial waste bins across the local area.
You will work alongside two loaders and may be required to assist with loading duties when needed.

This is a customer-facing role, so a polite, respectful, and helpful attitude is essential when interacting with members of the public.

Key Requirements

Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licencefor a minimum of 12 months.
Valid CPCand Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in refuse or recycling driving is preferred,
Good local knowledge of the local area is beneficial.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, should you be required to help load.Hours & Pay

36 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday.
Shift:06:30 - 16:00 (early finish possible depending on route completion)
Pay Rate:£16.23 per hour
Overtime:Paid at time and a halfIMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE.
