HGV Class 2 Driver (Nights)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C&E and CAT C) to join the team on nights
Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday (Friday and Sundays are required)
Pay Rate:
Class 2 Nights- £16.35
Location: Sheffield, S9
Job Type : Ongoing/ Temp to perm
The role:
Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.
Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average day.
Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
