Driver Hire Colchester& Sudbury are currently recruiting for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join our team for temporary, ongoing shifts.

Our clients are based across the CO postcode; Harwich, Clacton, Colchester, Sudbury, Halstead. They require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.

• Work is varied; Flatbeds, Palletwork, General haulage etc

• Start times varybetween04:00 and 07:00 AM.

• Monday to Friday day work

• Part-time shifts currently available, full time shifts available from March

• Shift length:Minimum pay 8hrs per day,

• Pay rate varies;minimum pay starts at £15.00 per hour, weekend and nights

• Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

• Minimum 2yrs experience

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

• Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

• Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.

• Reliable, professional, and punctual.

• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Flexible and able to adapt to different routes and delivery schedules.
