Position: HGV 2 Driver

Shifts: Days 07:00 start

Location: Dagenham

Pay: £20.00 per hour

DriverForce are seeking experienced HGV 2 drivers for our client based in Dagenham for temporary work

You will be responsible for undertaking deliveries which generally is up to 8 per day.

You will need to have 2 plus years HGV 2 Driver experience along with multi drop experience and be reliable, with a flexible, can do approach.

Please note there will be some manual handling so you will need a reasonable level of fitness.

Requirements:

• Full LGV C (Class 2) licence holder
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Driver CPC qualified or Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digi Tacho Card
• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of deliveries so a reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Comply with company procedures and transport regulations.
• Maintain a high standard of customer care during deliveries.
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills at all levels towards both customers and colleagues
• Previous multi drop experience is required
