HGV Class 2 Driver – Earn Up to £55,000 | Temp to Perm | Based in Hoddesdon

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a stable, full-time role with excellent earning potential? We’re recruiting for a well-established food distribution company in Hoddesdon offering a temp-to-perm opportunity with great pay, benefits, and work-life balance.

Salary & Benefits for HGV Class 2 Drivers:

* £19.67 per hour during initial 13-week agency period

* £49,118.68 annual salary once permanent

* Overtime available, with potential earnings up to £55,000 per year

* Time and a half overtime pay

* Permanent contract after 13 weeks

* 29 days annual leave

HGV Class 2 Driver – Role Details:

* 4 shifts per week (fixed patterns):

* Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
or

* Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

* Start times between 2:30 AM and 7:30 AM

* Deliveries of chilled goods to shops and restaurants

* Use of an electric pallet truck for unloading

* Daily vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork

* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

* Team-focused environment with achievable delivery targets

HGV Class 2 Driver – What We’re Looking For:

* Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence

* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Strong communication skills and a reliable, customer-focused attitude

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced delivery environment
