HGV Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Carlisle are currently looking for a Class 2 (HGV) Driver to join a well-established client based in Carlisle . This role involves delivering home furniture across the UK , usually working as part of a two-person team with a drivers mate .
This is an active role with regular lifting involved , but its ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and getting out on the road.

Opportunity to go permanent with the client after the contract period for the right candidate

Pay and benefits: £15.50 per hour (including holiday pay) for the first 8 hours

£19.00 per hour overtime rate after 8 hours

£25 night-out allowance for each night away

Earning potential of £900 per week if away all week
Pay review scheduled for April

Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting furniture

A positive attitude and good teamwork skills
