Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking an enthusiastic Class 2 Driver to join one of our fantastic clients based in Kent. This role involves delivering construction products to various sites, along with occasional assistance in the warehouse as required. This is a full-time position offering a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, with the potential for long-term employment and progression

The Role

* Up to 7-15 deliveries per shift, depending on route distance

* Start time 06:00 am (Min of 8 hours guaranteed)

* Safe loading and unloading of goods

* Safe operating of tail lifts up to 26 tonnes

* Completion and accuracy of all delivery paperwork

* Daily vehicle checks in line with health & safety regulations

* Ensuring full compliance with all driving regulations

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

* CPC and Digital Tachograph card

* Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience

* No more than 3 penalty points (no major endorsements – CD/IN/DR/TT)

* Good navigational skills

* Right to work in the UK

* A responsible and safety-focused approach to driving
