HGV Class 2 DriverPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our busy, well-established client based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.Shifts  •  Monday to Friday   •  Start times between 04:30 – 06:00, working until job finishRates of Pay  •  £16.00 per hourBenefits  •  Excellent hourly rates   •  Ongoing work with potential to become permanent following a qualifying period   •  Weekly pay – PAYE   •  On-site canteenDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):  •  Carrying out deliveries to businesses and building sites   •  Operating and driving curtain-side Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently   •  Completing pre- and post-journey vehicle checks   •  Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations   •  Adhering to all UK traffic laws and transport regulations   •  Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly   •  Assisting with loading and unloading when required (heavy lifting may be involved)Essential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:  •  Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles   •  Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card   •  No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)   •  Excellent punctuality and time-keeping   •  Good understanding of road traffic laws and regulationsDesirable Experience  •  Previous commercial driving experience   •  Multi-drop delivery experienceTraining Provided  •  Driver assessment required prior to starting   •  Full paid induction provided on your first dayApplyIf you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
