Job Overview

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join our growing Avonmouth depot.

Shift Details

Night shifts typically start between 22:00-00:00, Sunday to Wednesday, 4 × 10‑hour shifts a week. You will load and unload pallets of parcels, completing 3 runs a night and bringing any returns back to the depot.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect from delivery units.
  • Run with 4‑5 drops, ensuring safe, efficient driving and keeping paperwork updated.

Hours

Full‑time role: 40 hours a week, 4 × 10‑hour shifts. Full time is any 4 shifts out of 7; rosters are given in advance.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, CPC and digital tachograph.
  • Newly qualified drivers are welcome; all will undertake a short driving assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety‑first mindset.
  • Reasonable physical fitness.

Compensation & Benefits

  • £16.65 per hour with an overtime rate of £24.98.
