HGV Class 2 Driver Yate Multi-drop deliveries | Operate HGV 2 lorry | Driving role with varied duties
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a new opportunity in the Bristol/Yate area? Our client requires a reliable and professional driver to operate a Class 2 lorry, completing 4-10 multi-drop deliveries per shift. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic logistics environment, where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to complete 4-10 multi-drop deliveries daily
Manage loading and unloading of goods efficiently, ensuring accuracy and care
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily safety checks
Follow delivery schedules and routes as directed, adapting to traffic and weather conditions
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth deliveries
Assist with additional duties as required, supporting overall operational needs
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 licence with digital tachograph card
Proven experience in multi-drop delivery driving, preferably within Gloucester or nearby regions
Strong knowledge of road safety and vehicle maintenance procedures
Excellent time management and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts or overtime
