Job Description

M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join a customers home delivery operation across several locations.

Drivers will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of products, completing both multidrop and direct-to-customer deliveries.

Role Details

  • Full-time temporary position

  • Start time: 07:00

  • Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays available

  • Based at a home store, delivering to surrounding areas and stores

Locations & Pay Rates

  • Northampton £16.00 per hour

  • Birmingham / Wolverhampton £17.00 per hour

  • Hinckley £16.81 per hour

  • Burton £16.22 per hour

Start Date & Training

  • Starting from 23 February 2025

  • 2-day induction

  • 12 weeks of on-the-job training depending on experience

  • Training provided ahead of peak rollout

Key Responsibilities

  • Average of 510 deliveries per day

  • Delivering bulk items to customers homes using a HGV Class 2 HIAB vehicle

  • Following safe working practices at all times

  • Providing a high standard of face-to-face customer service

  • Flexible approach to working hours

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Category C) entitlement

  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC

  • HIAB licence (ALLMI C5)

  • Comfortable driving an automatic vehicle

  • Customer-facing experience preferred

  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently

  • Successful DBS check required
