Hours:

Every other Saturday, midnight - 2am starts. Pay Rates: (PAYE):

£14.43 p/h from 10pm onwards, £13.12 p/h from 6am onwards (ROLLEDUP)

The role: Trunking, long distance driving between depots. Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision. No/limited handball. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 6 months' experience minimum required. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test. Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
