The Role: Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on scheduled collection routes

Working as part of a small team collecting household waste

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and in line with health & safety guidelines

Providing a professional service to the local community

? Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday

Early starts typical of refuse operations

Optional overtime available

Overtime rates sometimes paid at double time

?? Pay: £16.35 per hour

Enhanced overtime rates available

? Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Previous refuse experience preferred but not essential
