HGV Class 2 Driver Temporary Assignment

We are currently recruiting for an experiencedHGV Class 2 Driverto join our client on a temporary contract running through to mid/late August, based just outside Blandford.

Start Dates (Induction):

  • Tuesday 5th May 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Thursday 8th May 8:00am to 5:00pm

Working Hours from 11th May:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00am 6:00pm
  • Some Saturdays: 6:00am approx. 2:00pm

Pay Rate:

  • £20 per hour
  • Completion Bonus:Approx. £1,000 (based on last years payout)

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving to various sites safely and efficiently
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment onto/from the vehicle
  • Supporting site operations as required

Additional Information:

  • Occasional overnight stays may be required
  • Work runs through until mid/late August
  • On-site accomodation available if required for a small surcharge

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good level of physical fitness (due to loading/unloading duties)
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work
