Roles: HGV Class 1 HGV Class 2 Shifts: Monday to FridayHours: Typically 9am startsPay Rate:£15.36 per hour PAYE Location: Basildon, SS14 Job Type: Ongoing The role: Securely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units. Class 2 - 1-2 drops and 5-6 collections Class 1 - 6-8 pallet deliveries and then bulk collections Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with relevant entitlement. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 6 months minimum experience required No more than 6 points on a licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
