*Location*: Airdrie

*Position*: Full time / Permanent

*Salary*: Depending on skills and experience

*Hours*: Night shift Monday -Thursday

Due to our continuous expansion, MV Commercial have an opportunity for an HGV Mechanic to join our friendly workshop team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

* PMI’s
* MOT prep
* Vehicle service
* Defect repairs

MV Commercial is one of the leading specialist vehicle suppliers in the UK and services & repairs vehicles from all leading manufacturers including DAF, MAN, Scania and Volvo.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, and can demonstrate the following:

* Ability to work under pressure
* Time served HGV Mechanic
* Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
* Excellent awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
