- £45,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Shift: MondayFriday, 2pm10pm (with optional overtime) About the Role Were looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our workshop team on the afternoon shift.

Youll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a modern fleet of HGVs to ensure they remain safe, compliant, and road-ready.

Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment Complete MOT prep and safety checks Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs Maintain accurate service records and paperwork Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime Ensure all work meets DVSA and company standards Support colleagues and contribute to a clean, safe workshop environment What Were Looking For Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic Experience working on HGVs Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable but not essential) A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanship What We Offer Competitive salary shift allowance Overtime available at enhanced rates Company pension xbpsjku scheme 28 days holiday (Including bank holidays) Training and development opportunities Modern, well-equipped workshop Supportive team and stable working environment How to Apply If youre an experienced HGV Technician looking for a steady afternoon shift and a great team environment, wed love to hear from you.
